Best well built laptops for schools

So my school is trying to get new laptops and im pushing for windows instead of ChromeOS, so their biggest concern is laptops that will break easily, so does anyone know a good laptop under 1K that can be bought from a big company that could offer a education discount i.e Dell or something of that sort. Thanks a ton i hope i can get windows

Try to get something from the commercial side from the big brands like HP, dell, whatever. I have a 5-year old HP probook and in general i hate HP a lot but damn that laptop is like a solid brick. It's in a different league.

 

As long as you stay away from the stuff that's aimed at an average person, you should be fine.

Not really, i would just ask them and see what they have to offer.

ThinkPads are pretty reliable as well. They're built like tanks and I think it's good for educational usage as well, even though it's mostly marketed for business users.
