Don't! whatever ur reason is dont buy GT Hundred series for gaming.

Get something like GTX 1050 or 1050 ti or used 750 ti.

The GT 1030 won't handle anything like that, you've got two options though.

1) find a used 750Ti which is still way faster.

2) buy a 1050Ti 4GB

Yeah, the 750ti cant be bought new here where I live and used go for the price of new GT 1030.

GT 1030 supports HDCP and this one

https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GT-1030-2GH-LP-OC.html

has HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4 so it would make for a great media PC later.

Used GTX 960/970 would make more sense than new GTX 750ti in this case.

The 1030 is a very capable card. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but it's the best new card you can buy for under $100. I'd go for it, but spring for a cheaper CPU, like a G4560.

I think you've inadvertently made another point in saying that.

Use the the difference in cost between the CPUs to buy a better graphics card. That's where it matters at this point. I did the exact same thing for my brother's build 2 years ago. Cheap dual core CPU and a 950. They play GTA5 all day.

At 1080p no!

At 720p yes!

But you know it's bad :(

A GT card is useful for running high resolution displays (most Nvidia Cards can run 8K) but not for gaming. Get a 1050 or 1050 Ti for gaming.

Get a 1050Ti 4GB or even a 750TI 2GB (I've seen those go for as little as £40).

Yes, one video I saw used a Ryzen 3 1200 with a 3GB GTX 1060. But there were bottlenecks. Perhaps in your case there will be none. Upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1500 with a GTX 1050 Ti.  To be safe. On a Ryzen 3 1200, I would get a GTX 1050.

What? Of course it does:

The GT1030 is a lot more capable than it seems, sure I still recommend the GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti instead as it offers better value per performance but the GT 1030 can do 60fps 1080p in GTA V by all means.
