I need help identifying my speakers cable type.

Jayliss

I am trying to identify the wire type. I then want to know how to convert them to my PC so I can use then as speakers. This way u don't have to buy more.

The red and the blue wires are for one speaker. The white and the black wires are for the other speaker

I'm pretty sure that you can connect your PC to that input, but I cant read the label. What does it say?

Correct me if I'm wrong but you'd like to connect the red and black wire to a 3.5mm jack and plug them into your PC?

These are passive speakers, you would need some kind of amp to run them straight from your pc.

As said above me these are passive speakers and will NOT work with your pc unless there is an RCA input (red/white cables like for a dvd player) on the back of the stereo that powers those speakers but by the looks of it there is not.

You will need an amplifier that has an RCA input on the back, then you will also need a RCA to 3.5mm cable so one end can go into your computer, phone etc and the other end into the amplifier.

First buy this:

https://www.amazon.com/Kinter-MA170-Channel-Digital-Amplifier/dp/B007TUSXEY/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1512189727&sr=8-6&keywords=speaker+amplifier

Then buy this:

https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-109769-10-Feet-Stereo-Plated/dp/B00AJHBG02/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1512189825&sr=1-1&keywords=3.5mm+to+rca+cable+10ft&refinements=p_36%3A2491155011

Then last step is to plug in your RED/BLACK & BLUE/WHITE cables from the speakers into the back of the amp and you will be good to go just make sure the left speaker to you is in the "left" channel of the amp and the right speaker is in the "right" channel.  Nothing bad will happen if you mix it up it will just sound off..
