Cpu runs, monitor no signal

AllaboutBudget

Help please ive been dealing with this problem. Whenever i try to turn on my pc the cpu runs but the monitor receives no signal. Ive tried a bunch of stuff in the youtube. Change cmos, clean ram, unplug and plug connectors etc. What can be the cause of this problem?

Can you tell us what hardware you have? Are you sure the monitor is connected to the graphics card and not the motherboard?

full specifications?

Also how do you know the CPU works if you have no video output??

First thing to do when that happens is to verify that all the PSU connectors are plugged in correctly. (which you did)

Since you tried a few things the next steps would be to unplug everything that isn't needed and only leave the essential (the CPU, 1 stick of RAM and the GPU if you don't have integrated graphics, unplug everything else, even the mouse and keyboard).

Also, does your motherboard "gives" any errors (some have small displays showing numbers, others have LEDs and some only beep)?
