I'll cut to the chase. Is this laptop, the Acer Aspire 5, worth its 2319 MYR (565 USD) price tag? 

 

CPU: Intel Core i5-8250U @ up to 3.4 GHz

RAM: 4 GB DDR4 @ 2133 MHz

GPU: Nvidia MX150 2 GB GDDR5

HDD: 1 TB HDD @ 5400 RPM

Screen: Acer ComfyView 15.6" 1080p display

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit

            1x USB Type C, 3.1

            1x HDMI port

            1x Ethernet port

It's the best budget laptop in Malaysia. Go for it if you have budget constraint. Though you may want to upgrade RAM (must) and SSD (optional)

I'll definitely upgrade The RAM to 8 GB but I probably won't get an SSD upgrade due to their high price. Man, do you remember the times you could get a 120 GB SSD from just RM 130? Now they're all beyond RM 200!

And 8GB DDR4 RAM for around RM160-180, now it's almost doubled the price
