Bitcoin

Dang, just saw news story that Bitcoin hit $10,000.  Sure wish that I had seen that a long time ago when it first came out.

I'm wondering when it will get to the point where it no longer goes up and I can finally not regret not buying some. I was thinking back when it hit $6000 that there was no point in buying it anymore, but now I regret that decision too. I wonder if I'll regret not buying it at $10,000 as well.

I wonder how many people still have some bought from when it was fluctuating below $1000. It's gone up so far past what people expected it to that it's hard to know when to sell now.

I had to sell all my ethereums@200€ as i ran out of money (i'm a student) and only got out 450€ out of the 400€ that i invested ... If i had a chance to wait untill yesterday, i'd have 800€ right now :<

Please don't remind me about BTC. I had the opportunity to invest when a single coin was valued at less than £5...

theres only 21 million coins... with maybe 18mil still in circulation (not lost/destroyed)

so it just depends... if interest and demand keeps up it could really go up pretty high in the future....

id treat it as a long term investment... but make it no more than 10% of your portfolio. or just mine and hold if that's what you rather/feel better about

oh and keep your coins safe people!

I bet this guy (who likely technically now has the worlds most expensive Tesla) wishes he had had the forethought to hold onto the coin as well http://money.cnn.com/2013/12/06/autos/tesla-bitcoin/index.html

hope he is enjoying that million dollar tesla thats worth less then 100k.

or Laszlo Hanyecz who spent 10,000 bitcoin on 2 large pizzas (the first transaction with bitcoin) those 2 pizzas cost him 100 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! based on bitcoins current value.
