I was thinking of getting a new keyboard. I'm using the Razer Deathstalker as of 2 years ago.

These are the two preferences that I have in mind,

Although, i'm not sure which one to get.

I haven't tried either of them, nor have I ever used a mechanical keyboard. I also do understand that it all comes down to personal preference, but yeah, i'm not really sure.

Thanks,

Ben.

I personally prefer MX brown, as I am typing this response on a keyboard with those switches now. They are better when typing for long duration's. Like writing a school paper on one is an experience to be had. However, the speed switches I do prefer when gaming.

I have used brown, and now use speed on my home pc and brown at work,

the speeds are terrible for typing because they are so sensitive, browns have a more tactile feel and are the ideal middle ground for typing and gaming in my opinion

They suck for typing for typing, I agree, but they're the best for gaming.
