Throttling?

Lays

The past few weeks, every so often I've noticed some really annoying things with my net. Watching videos online, buffering every few seconds. I have comcast cable and I'm not sure if it's the websites I'm watching the Tv shows on, or my net.  Yesterday right around 3pm, and today at 3pm is when it started doing the buffering every few seconds.

I've tried different websites (I usually use promptfile / putlocker/ sockshare via "primewire.ag)

I can do a speedtest when it's fine, and do one when the buffering starts, and the speeds are exactly the same, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I've tried clearing the cache, trying different browsers (IE,Chrome,FireFox)

Not sure what else I can do:

Speedtest:

Illegal download sites always have damn terrible connections. If you pay, it'll be better :)

@Youbetternot

I'm just confused as to why it randomly does this :/ it doesn't bug me that much, I usually just go get a snack and pause it and wait for it to buffer then come back and watch the rest, it seems like it's always around the same times so it must just be the sites having horribad connections like @tomlambert01 said.

@tomlambert01  some of the shows I watch aren't on netflix, and when they are new episodes aren't on netflix yet, I have a netflix account as well.  Also I don't download the shows, only stream them.

makes me wonder though seeing stuff about comcast being dicks and throttling, but I've never had a problem with them for the like.. 17 years we've had comcast

Trust me; The problem is with the site; they throttle so that you get a paid account and then they throttle you further because they have their money out of you now and they don't give a damn.
