EVGA Hybrid - https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-6598-KR

Might as well give yourself as much headroom as possible, assuming of course your case (and wallet) can handle it. Nabbed a 980TI myself that's watercooled and it's been quiet and cool since the day I turned it on. Well worth the extra $$$ imo.

I second this, the sc2 hybrid is the best deal.

I'll look into it. I have a phanteks enthoo evolv atx with the top 2 fan slots covered with a x61 in exhaust. Should i put the card in the back as exhaust?

I have the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX as well. I have a 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid, and a NZXT Kraken X52 (240mm). I installed my X52 to the front of my case and have the radiator from my FTW3 Hybrid in the back, exhausting. Performance is great, I don’t see anything on the GPU higher than 50-55C. So yeah, I would recommend putting the GPU radiator in the back if you are going that route.

I was looking at that one but I decided to go with the https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137250 instead to match my MSI motherboard.  Such an expensive card but I want to be able to play Sniper Elite 4 in all its glory.

I am actually deciding myself how come nobody as has mentioned the Asus ones? I recently bought an Asus board was thoroughly disappointed so now I bought the MSI Carbon Pro. Is their 1080ti disappointing?

I recently had to decide on the 1080 tis, bought 2 of the evga sc2 hybrid for 2 different builds. For me the 1080 Ti runs WAY too hot on air, so that narrows down to the hybrid ones. I dont get taxed from bh so I had to get whatever hybrid they had to save a good 60bucks. Not going for max oc or anything since the % increase in performance between 2000mhz and 2100mhz is negligible, so i didnt pay 50 extra for the FTW3.

I have been considering puting the rad in the front, how does it effect mobo temps as it is spitting hot air into the case? and on that matter how do you have your other fans set up, more specifically the top ones

To be honest, I haven’t really monitored motherboard temps much so I can’t give you an answer for that. As far as the fans, I’ll give you a rundown of all the fans I have in my pc. So, in the front of the case, I have 3 ML120 Pro fans intaking. Then behind the metal bracket I have the X52 radiator mounted. Mounted to the radiator are 2 more ML120 Pros acting as a Push-Pull. At the top of my case, I mounted 3 more ML120 Pros for exhausts (I run these at low RPMs so that the GPU radiator/fan gets air), and at the back I have another ML120 Pro mounted to the GPU radiator (which is mounted to the case). Yeah, i guess you could say I like my fans lol.

I’m using 2 noctua af14 in the front as intake, 2 in the top with rad and one in the back as exhaust. The only problem is that I don’t have an AF12 to use for the rad. Is it worth investing in or does the one that comes with the hybrid good enough. I really do have a thing for noctua there so quiet
