GTX 970?

Would the GTX 970 still be good and would the 1050ti be any better? I only play at 1080p med/high. My PC specs are in my sig.

the 970 is only just behind the GTX 1060 3GB card in terms of performance

 

the 970 will be faster than the 1050Ti

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

970 is better but often a 980 isn't much more than that...for some odd reason.

The 970 is closer to the 1060 3GB from a performance stand point and it will be noticably faster then the 1050ti. 1080p at those settings should see a good amount of performance within your gaming experience, while the 1050ti will play at that resolution and at those settings, the 970 will be noticable faster in games.
