Advice on RX 570 or GTX 1060 3GB upgrade

ItsMitch

Hi, I'm planning on upgrading my GPU but I'm torn between the RX 570 from team red and the GTX 1060 3GB and before you ask, I'm not willing to spend an extra £100 on 3 extra GB because I don't think that its all needed.

Oh before you ask, my current GPU is a MSI GTX 770 but it's fans are starting to die. So please, what GPU should I go to, RX or GTX?

Cheers

The 1060 3GB is slightly faster (15-20%) in most games, so go with that if the price is good.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

It's no where close to 20% difference. They render functionally the same performance, though it depends precisely on the game which is slightly better. Your real question is which is a better price?
