CPU fan doesn't always start at boot

As far as i know, it started at the end of July. And it only happens occasionally (once or twice a month)

As long as it starts up, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep an eye on it.

My PC occasionally has a strange thing where it will boot, and when the system starts, up until the POST beep, the CPU heatsink fan won't rev up, and the Speaker buzzes to let me know. The odd thing is right after the beep, the fan revs up fine. 

 

Specs:

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP - Rev 1.0 - BIOS Rev F6

CPU - Intel 3470 (not overclocked)

CPU Heatsink - Intel Stock 1155 Heatsink

GPU - Gigabyte GT640 OC

RAM - Corsair Vengeance LP 8 GB (2 X 4 GB)

OS - Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit, Mac OS X Mavericks

 

Any help or information on this would be greatly appreciated.
