You may want to upgrade to a K series CPU for overclocking in the future, but if you do that you would need to make sure the MOBO is overclocking compatible. Personally I prefer 16gb of RAM but that could be upgraded later. Lastly a 650+ Watt PSU might be preferable to ensure future upgradability and provide a quieter experience.

A little more expensive but way better. If you don't want to pay as much go for an r5 1600 instead.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Hey, my build is kinda similar, I also went for the i5-7500 since I knew I woudn't overclock. And you really don't need a $50 cooler for it, the stock cooler keeps it at a nice 60 degrees under load.

What are you using the system for? If it's for gaming get an Intel chip, like the I5-8400. You'll get much better performance then Ryzen.

it won't perform any better with a 1050ti or 1060.

https://www.techspot.com/review/1514-core-i5-8400-vs-overclocked-ryzen-5-1600/page6.html

only a 2 fps difference on average, and that's with a Vega 64 LC which is fat better than the 1050ti. both CPUs will be GPU bottlenecked.
