Should i get this monitor?

I have the evga gtx 1080 TI and im ready to upgrade my 1080p monitor money is not a problem at all. i have seen this monitor https://www.amazon.com/PG278QR-2560x1440-G-SYNC-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B017EVR2VM?th=1 should i go for it? or should i wait? should i be worried about backlight bleeding problem or asus fixed it?

If it has backlight bleed you can RMA it.

I'd wait and see if it goes on sale for Black Friday. If you like ultra wide monitors, the 34" Asus is going on sale for $400 off. I think it's $900.

I checked the 20 page and there's literally nothing on it for asus screen.

But the screen itself cost 1300$ how they are saying it's 900$ lol what's that?

Most people say the jump between 100 - 144 isn't really noticeable, compared to 60 - 90.

But yea, the form factor is one of the reasons it's so expensive. Your card would barely be able to push the 100fps.

Depends on the game. Definitely not Crysis 3, GTA V, Metro, Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3, etc...

Yeah, the lower resolution would be easier to run for sure.

It's still the best. It just can't reach over 100fps on a 1440p UW.
