Hello, been having a lot of loading issues lately, don't know whether it's the CPU or HDD or something else so I decided to install CrystalDiskInfo first to check for the HDD's health, problem is, it's saying my HDD is in good health even though the values are higher or the same as the worst.. Can someone explain to me what's up? Thank you

Full specs.

Have you tried to run chkdsk and then defragment the drive? Is your OS on the HDD?

Check the fragmentation, use Defraggler and defragment if necessary.

Downloaded, I'm assuming there's a lot of bad fragments? Ran the benchmark, says the HDD has good health but I'm seeing a lot of red on a decent amount of fragments.

No, sadly already doing the defragmentation, should I still run chkdsk?
Also yes, my OS is on the HDD.

Yeah, 18% fragmentation can definitely affect the HDD read performance. It's not that terrible though.

Well the game that I was having file loading issues with happened to be on a dark red fragment, that could be the issue perhaps? I'm going to locate the game to my SSD and see the difference, if there's none should I assume it's the game's optimization or is there anything else?

EDIT: Just found out red means fragged and not bad file health, that means game optimization?

If someone can explain to me the values thing in the original picture how they're at the worst value (only one is not) and the HDD is still functioning that would be nice, maybe could learn a new thing or 2.

Some of the fields report the correct value in the raw data - field, some of them in the current value - field -- it's manufacturer-specific. It's confusing, yes, but no one ever claimed that SMART was designed well, and every manufacturer likes to kind of do their own thing. I see that you have e.g. no reallocated sectors, the temperature reported (23 hex == 35 dec) is fine, raw read error rate is zero -- the HDD is fine.

Glad to hear, so as long as I don't really have any clear HDD issues or anything indicating to that I should be good?

Well, your screenshot certainly doesn't indicate any physical issue, whatsoever. Whatever problems you have are most likely to be either on the software-side or in some other component.

Your values are fine for the most part. I would run a chkdsk /r C:. This should give you a readout of the sectors and how many have to be reallocated.
