hey,

new hear and had some worries about my set up. I am not sure but i think it might be bottle-necking and was wondering if anyone had a set up close to mine that might help. I ran an adia 64 GPGPU benchmark and can run more if you need more info.  if you need more info or this is in the wrong thread I can move it.

Thanks!

Your cpu shouldnt be the bottleneck. Id reccomend install some cpu and gpu usage monitoring software (or you could leave task manager open now that it has a gpu section) and then check which one reaches 100 percent. That would be the bottleneck.

Is it normal that is say's 800 MHz for the CPU ? i don't now if it just show's it like that but 800 MHz for a CPU that should run at 3.8 GHz is strange

hey sorry it took me a while to get back. i think it is bottle necking but it could definitely  be a setting that i am missing or something like that. With this set up it i didn't get any improvement out of it when i upgraded from a 960 to the 1060. i didn't change any of the quality settings and still get the same results. if you guys have any insight it would be very helpful!

Go into your BIOS and set your CPU Ratio to Auto and see what happens.
