I have a G3258 Pentium in my rig that I'm wanting to upgrade upon.  I know the response is going to be "ditch that old crap and get a new build".  Money is fairly tight, and a whole new rig isn't happening (single dad, working-class, just bought a house this past summer).  I've got a Z97 board, 16GB of RAM, Samsung SSD, GTX 960, etc.  Looking to spend in the $150 - $200 for a Christmas gift to myself for this and wondering if there's a Xeon on the used market that might fit the bill.  If i'm way off base or there's a better solution, let me know.  I'm not looking for 4k on the new AAA titles, but I'd like to play a few older things (Witcher 3, Skyrim, TF2, etc.)

Thanks All!!!

Get something like a 4670k and OC it, or a 4690k, should fit in your budget.

Found a 4670K on eBay for $120 shipped to me.  Is HT really something I should concern myself with if I'm not doing anything like video editing or photoshop?   I've got a Bid in on a Xeon, which I doubt I'll win without getting into a sniping war last minute.   Also, currently running a 212 Evo on my G3258 @4.4Ghz with no cooling issues, but have been pondering an AIO setup.  From what I read thermals are a touch higher on the i5's of this gen, would it be worth getting an AIO to clock this i5 up to the same speed or higher?  Or just go with a lower clock and keep the air cooled setup.
