Okay, I was just reading stuff saying that later on hopefully games start to utilize all 8 cores of the ryzen. But probably is overkill

By the time they do, AMD will have fixed all of the issues Ryzen has including the clock barrier.

Thanks! I've chosen a ASRock AB350M Pro 4 Mobo, the R5 1600 and 2x8gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz ram

Looks good. Make sure you overclock the RAM or enable XMP for the BIOS.
