Overriding game statuses on Steam Deck

Third time is the charm, because Reddit keeps deleting my posts on r/SteamDeck (sigh).

 

In short, I've been using Easy Effects for a while now to EQ my headphone's audio on my OLED Deck, always booting it alongside my games in Game Mode by adding it as a non-steam game, but I've always been annoyed by it overriding my Steam account's status to say "Playing Easy Effects" instead of the actual game I'm playing.

 

Is there a good way to fix this, overriding or making sure Easy Effects doesn't "take it over"?

FYI: Hiding Easy Effects doesn't seem to do anything for it, I already tried that. Cheers in advance.
