Im havinh troubles with my new pc 

Cpu: I9 7840XE 18core

Motherboard: asus extreme rampage iv extended

Gpu: 2x asus 1080ti strix 

Harddisk: m.2 1tb from samsung

Ram: 32 gb

But every time i boot the pc up with both gpus the pc freezes but they both work if they are running alone how can can this be??

Both with enough power?  You should install the drivers first before trying SLI.

Gpu: 1080ti in 2way sli

Ram:32 gb 

Psu:1000 watt plat 

Problem: 

Then i slam both of them in my pc in sli it just freezes in windows but then i take one out i can play a litte but after a little time it freezes again

have you installed all latest drivers?

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

  • Update your BIOS

Update BIOS.

@Ksanslev it would appear you have been give some advice from both a month ago and recently to update your Drivers.

  • Have you updated your grapics drivers?
    • What were the results?
    • good, bad or no change?
  • Have you updated your BIOS?
    • Sometimes a bios update will fix a possible comparability issue with your SLI setup.
  • Have you checked to see if you motherboar supports SLI natively?
    • If it does updating the BIOS may help.
    • If it does not any updates you apply may not work unless said BIOS receives a change to allow support.
    • Checking the Manufacturers website will help shed light on this.
  • Have you attempted to install the cards in another system to see if you get the same results as you are getting in this system?

Please provide the community with more information so that other members may assist you in finding a solution.
