Hi

I have my 6700k happily OCed to 4.7ghz @1.315v.

I've just recently learned about Vdroop and LLC. I'm a noob, I know.

I need guidance. I have Asus z-170a MB and I can't find LLC control, I don't know how offset mode works, I don't know anything beside that you need that XMP profile, and manual OC. That's where I'm at.

My CPU does 4.9ghz but I think Vdroop is causing it to crash under load. Can you help me?

Also, HWinfo doesn't see any voltage drop under load. Even with Prime95 at 4.7ghz. Rock solid at 1.315v. Not even flinching.. I think that there's sth wrong with it. Anyways, I don't want to push some killing values through my chip so help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You probably won't see vdroop unless you're doing LN2 overclocking at like 1.6v or something ridiculous.

It's crashing because it's unstable.

Either give it more voltage or leave your overclock at 4.7.
