Do you use the PC for more than gaming? If so you can get a Ryzen 1600 "pack" (cpu, mobo, ram) for 390. I'm not familiar with wifi cards so someone else would have to help with that. Generally a PCIe wifi adapter isn't bundled with the motherboard btw, you have to buy them seperate.

Also just assumed the country with it being euro's, prices may vary depending where you're from.

If you only game, the i3 would be a better choice.. but the motherboard will be expensive as only Z370 boards are available for the moment, i'd suggest waiting until cheaper H370 or H310?(Not sure how they'll name the next chipsets) boards are available.

Does that Ryzen board have built in wifi?

If it does, spend the extra 30 euro's for that setup OP, the 16gb ram will be more useful than 6c/12t of the 1600 i suggested, as that 1400 is still 4c/8t so plenty enough for editing/streaming or whatever you plan to do with the build really.

Yah, was one of the cheaper, boards with wifi for Ryzen. I think there was one a few bucks cheaper but it didn't look as solid.

Probably try for AM4 for the long run.

It's too bad Desktop Ryzen APUs aren't out, that'd probably be pretty decent for you.

I guess hold onto that GPU for as long as possible? Slap in a cheap 1030 or 550 hopefully if it's even cheaper when it dies, Ignore the GPU price for now

Or upgrade to an 4c/8t Ryzen APU in the future

also threw in a possible new PSU, but as far as I can tell your PSU selection is super limited

I definitely wouldn't want to use that PSU. Looks ancient, and (trying to read from the picture) looks like it has 16 and 14 amps on the 12V rails.

Also what is that graphics card?

As you could potentially go for the A8 9600 if you don't want to get used parts, and want to get on AM4 for the upgrade path.

As the iGPU in the APU will be stronger than the i3's, but the i3's CPU is obviously on part with Ryzen 3 for performance

I opted for the Ryzen 1600 over the Intel 7600K because I do more than just game and the additional cores are perfect for my workflow. If you're on a budget, though, the AMD option may seem like a good idea but you need to really consider what you'll be doing with your system.

For starters, overclocking requires an aftermarket cooler. A lot of people say they've managed reasonable overclocks with the stock coolers, but personally I wouldn't feel happy with them. There are plenty of options out there at various price points, but once you've factored in that cost the price gap starts to become smaller. To squeeze absolutely every bit of performance out of Ryzen, you'll also need super fast RAM which again, isn't cheap.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.95GHz [1.365v] // Mobo: ASRock B350 Pro4 // GPU: EVGA GTX1070 8GB SC Black Edition

Case: NZXT S340 Elite // Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 // RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB 3066MHz // Misc: NZXT Hue+

Storage: WD Green 120GB M.2, SK HyniX 250GB SSD, Samsung Evo 250GB SSD, Seagate 3TB 7200RPM // PSU: Corsair RM750X
