Any Oneplus 5 owners here?

Cyberspirit

Hey, so I've been thinking hard recently and decided that it's either going to be a Oneplus 5 or an iPhone 7 though I like the Oneplus 5 more.

If you have one could you please share your experience with the phone and tell me what you like and dislike about it?

If you are thinking about the OnePlus 5T it is rumoured to not have any physical buttons on it so I don't want it.

That and the phone has been (and still is...) out of stock for two months now.

Also, I would have to wait anyways because these new phones cost a damn fortune.

I would wait and see (I was tempted but the inverted screen that causes the scrolling issue was a deal breaker as I mainly read on my phone, but this could be a non-issue for you)

I've heard that it's mostly not an issue but again if I used my phone for mainly reading then I would be a sceptic as well.

Why not. It's literally the same as capacitive buttons.

I don't know guess I'm old-timey but I like the good old screen and buttons.

Also my headphone jack... Rest in peace good old friend :(

I just meant in general. Bigger companies seem to hate it nowadays.

Sadly, but I think we wouldn't see physical buttons on other devices in 2 years, probably :/

Yeah, we'll see how things turn out.

To be honest, don't hate it but I got used to having a screen and three buttons so I'll have to adapt I guess.

We will need to adapt to holographic phones too, someday xD

It's a cool idea but would that have any advantages?

Also, no one who owns a OnePlus 5 has replied yet

I have a oneplus 5 i like it. the jelly effect never bothered me while reading

i like the buttons or i got used to them but i wouldn’t have minded more screen estate instead my previous phone was a nexus 5s and the fingerprint reader on the back was very natural.

i recently just got upsets with all the spying news with oneplus and i’m still waiting for oreo other than that the phone is good. Still maybe wait for the T to know your options

If I remember correctly, there is a pretty easy trick to get rid of the spying by just removing an app. It was featured on the WAN Show.

Edit: Here's the link to the WAN Show
