LAN Parties! Who still does em?

CoalitionGaming

Hi all, so we wrapped up our Fall LAN Party this past saturday and it was a hell of a good time despite our lighter turnout than usual. I throw LAN Parties amongst our  crew and friends every season and its something everyone looks forward to, been doing them since 2014. LAN Parties are a lost art! Who still does em? Any fun stories?

And in case anyone wants to watch, got a few LAN Party vids as well

The most recent:

Our Summer 2017 LAN Party

and a previous in-between seasons Mini LAN Party

my buddy also did a video for last summer's LAN party that was pretty a pretty good watch

Get a switch! Not just the one provided by your ISP or one of those combo routers, AP, and switch devices, but a full blown 16-24 port switch for everyone to plug into.

Awesome! We would do this back in highschool about 13-14 years ago since my friends and I had computer repair class right before lunch. We'd rock it up with Counter-Strike 1.5. Even had some girls in there playin too.

I just love LAN parties, sadly they are very rare. Nothing like playing UT99 with friends in the same room.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
