Well if you wanna work for Newegg want you're looking at is more of a warehouse type position. That's going to be pulling the product from the warehouse boxing it up and putting the correct shipping label on, stuff like that. Over time you can work your way up to more of a manager type position where your job is to watch over people, and solve the problems they have, and ensure quality control if those under you are not meeting standards. Now if you're really desperate for a job, and you're in decent shape, good health, don't have anything mentally wrong or physical issues, like asthma or back issues, you know something that will prevent you from doing pushups situps, and running, look into the military. All the different branches need people to be able to work in various positions that involve technology.  I'm currently enlisted in the Army reserves in college as a 025 Bravo (that's means I'm an IT specialist). The 025 series in the Army is the signal corp and they make sure the Army can communicate across the battlefield. Many of the positions have some great bonuses to get you started. I'm also looking into becoming an officer and join the 17 series which is a newer MOS (military occupational specialty) where I'm basically a cyber warrior. My job would be to defend our network or attack our enemies networks. It's going to be a whole lot easier to get a job in the military (with the Army probably being the easiest) than anything else.

However, I do suggest pursuing a job with what you're interested in, I just wanted to suggest an option to you in case things start to look really bad and you really need a job.

BTW ltt lets us know when they are hiring, I do remember a couple of months, maybe close to a year ago they did some hiring but they haven't since then. The last time they hired people they were looking more for people who could edit their videos and write scripts for there videos as they were burning out on ideas.

Here are some links to different PC Builders (they may or may not have open positions you will need to monitor them)

https://www.ibuypower.com/Company/Careers

https://www.originpc.com/company/careers.aspx

http://www.xoticpc.com/careers

https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/company/jobs.aspx

There are many other companies as well but not all of them have an easy to find job openings. You also have to remember that many of these companies have one main location where they assemble these PCs and so you have to be willing to move there....which takes money. (btw the military pays for you to move, and pays you to learn your job which can get you college credit)

You can also consider companies like Dell, and HP as they are a lot bigger and will higher a lot more workers. You'll also wanna have the technical expertise to be able to work on laptops, that will make you more marketable.

1. I'm more into hardware

2. Thanks for your service, I am about to get my eagle scout, and that is definitely a way I am considering.

Here read up on some of these http://www.army-portal.com/jobs/signal/ since your considering that route. It tells you the require ASVAB score and explains the job requirements. My job 025B ranges from troubleshooting computers and windows to setting up windows server, routers, and switches.

Depends on your rank, in basic training the pay sucks, you get about a $300 (or maybe it was $350) deductions from your first paycheck (since they can't guarantee you'll have a debit card you get this eagle card). Now how much you make depends on many factors, such as BAS, which depends on if you have a house, dependents, are married. Your rank and time in service are also big factors. I believe in basic I was making close to $500 twice a month, however, and in AIT after 4 months and a promotion from PVT to PV2 I was making around $650 twice a month ($1300). This is after taxes, and I was single without a house or dependents. If I had been ranked up to PFC while in AIT I probably would have been making right around $1400 or $700 twice a month. Now it might not sound like a lot, but your getting paid to learn your job (which can be like college courses) you can earn certifications, you get a roof over your head, and you get feed. (technically everyone gets BAS but all of mine were taken to pay for food since I am just supporting myself so at the end of AIT I got a HUGE paycheck but the entire BAS was taken out at once). You also have to choose between active and reserve. On active duty, your going to have some leave right after to go and see your family but then you'll head off to your duty station, which could be throughout the world. In the reserves, you meet once a month and have a 2-week training typically during the summer but you don't make a lot of money. (your only working 2-3 days as some drills start on Fridays others Saturdays) ubt you can go to college full time. You just have to be able to travel to your drill each weekend.

I also forgot to include that there are benefits you can collect while in the reserves or national guard and your going to college. If you plan to go to college and you want to join the military first, I recommended the guard route as they have better benefits typically unless your under the 9/11 bill but that would require you being in active duty service then becoming a reserve soldier after your 4 year contact.
