And btw, Im in ireland and NewEgg is based in USA. Would the long shipping time have potential damage to the card?

You have't taken into account import tax, stamp duty and shipping.  The newegg card will end up costing around 500

(* Above total does not include shipping, taxes or duties. Final charge amount will be displayed before order submission.)

You are better off using UK retailers, like scan, amazon, novatech, and overclockers UK.

As previously mentioned, right now the cheapest with decent warranty is 1070 is £380(EVGA, scan), 1070ti is £430/440(KFA2, Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA @ scan, overclockers, novatech), and 1080 is £465(laptopsdirect after promotion)

If you must have a strix, it is 1070 - 432, 1070ti - 500, 1080 - 575, at the current 1070 strix price you can get a 1070ti

Intel 12400F | 2x8 3000Mhz Corsair LPX | ASRock H570M-ITX  | Noctua DH-N14 | Corsair MP50 480GB | Meshilicious | Corsair SF600Fedora

Thanks let me know if I said something useful. Cheers!

What would you recommend to change for a man with a budget of 1450 pounds? This is what I came up with https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/TBZKWX
