Which one is better for mods Skyrim or Skyrim SE ?

I'm looking for best Skyrim version for graphics or visual mods. So which version of this game has the best support for mods ? My goal is to maximaly improve Skyrim graphics and i have decent hardware or intel core i7, GTX 1080 and 16GB of RAM. For which version of this game should i go ?

Skyrim se is a lot easier to work with and is what most people will be making their mods for.

look the normal skyrim every mod is compatible with it, but skyrim SE just got skse 'skyrim script extender" for 64bit for alpha release  and its  only for developers to upgrade their exiting mods to support skyrim SE 

just use normal skyrim for  the time been till the skyrim SE skse

 

what is skse 'skyrim script extender"

its the essential tool to add mods that are complex ...etc
