Light Gaming Build

I am planning to build this once I get the money this upcoming Christmas. Would this be good for games like LoL, G-mod, Minecraft, etc...?

 

I want to have it be easy to upgrade so that when I get more money later down the line I can improve on it...

Yeah, those games aren't that intensive, so it'd be fine. 1 TB seems like a lot for those, though...

500gb drives are barely cheaper its worth it to get a 1 tb drive

Yeah that's a decent build, but Kaveri APU's will launch and those look promising..

Get the Corsair CX 500M PSU. it costs $10 more and gives you so much more options in terms of connectors for future upgrades. The 430 is good for that build but just for the sake of having 6+2 pin connectors I'd go with the 500M

I'm not sure about the Barracuda HDD... I'm not sure about how it compares to the Caviar black...

And I do plan to put a separate GPU (probably the 7770) in there and run it with the AMD Dual graphics thing.

 

I've also heard that the faster the RAM the better the APU runs.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I go to buy or what not. It really is gonna depend on how much money i end up with >.<

I may switch out the HDD to try and keep the price down... and maybe drop a 6670 in there if it doesn't crank the price too high...

There's no point in cf with an apu and gpu. A 7770 will outperform any hybrid cf.

Hmmm... you're starting to sell me on this... but what about the CPU side of things, how does the Anthlon II hold up against the a10?

You mean adding another gpu for cf? You're probably better off getting a better single gpu when you can afford it.

true true... but i mean if i would use a smaller case, wouldn't i have to go with like a microATX or whatever the smaller one is? If so, i had one before this, the MSI e35 i believe it was but this mobo has a lot more and is only like $10 more

Yeah, micro atx would be cheaper and should do everything you need. 

Smaller form factors are more practical which helps for space constraints and portability.

You should get the smaller case. A micro atx mobo in a mid tower is a bit awkward.

it's so close to what you suggested earlier... but it all makes sense now, sorry about going back and forth about it with you >.< but i like the case, it has the USB 3.0 and what appear to be half way decent cable management holes. my only issue with it is the top mounted PSU but i think i could deal with that.
