bacily it work fine but when i overclock it goes ballistic as in it makes a very large ticking sound i know it is my cpu cuz it only makes the sound when i overclock said cpu

is it the CPU fan? becase higher temps so its running faster? 

 

there is no moving parts in a CPU so it cant make noise

clicking has to be something with a moving part. Possible things: Water pump motor clicking, fans, psu, hdd or video card. Other then those things, I can't think of something that would make noise.

It's hard to say, but a cpu  has no moving parts so it can't make a noise. 

 

We need to find out where the noise is coming from exactly. The best to do that would be opening the side panel and moving your ear around until you can find out where the sound is the loudest.

 

I know that you said its only happening when you overclock, but that doesn't mean it's coming from the CPU. Other PC parts are also under stress if you overclock the cpu.

 

Maybe you can record the audio too that would help out.
