It has a fx 8320e black edition, a HD 6950, a TR2 600w, a 320gb HDD with win 10, 16 gb random ram (ddr3), and a Corsiar Spec Alpha. (This is the majority of the PC in the bio BC i want to upgrade to ryzen and a new case, and have a spare gpu and psu) How much should I ask for. On ebay the parts go for $610 and similarily on newegg.

What? I'd give it like 250 dollars MAX, nobody wants FX processors nowadays, 600 dollars would be a ludicrous asking pricing.

depends on how stupid your local used market is, thats all there is too it to be honest. maybe $600 or best offer if its craigslist or similar to that, if its somewhere you can place bids start it off at $500 or less and if its a tech forum you are selling to have fun with your $400 or less

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I know it would. I was thinking of asking $400. I doubt people know what PC parts are (as long as they can game).

Well you can try selling it just pray to find people who doesn't understand how hardware works because even Intel's cheap G4560 is a better CPU than the FX8320e

I recently sold my FX 8320E system without a GPU and 8GB of RAM for $160. I’d say your system probably sits at $225 or $250.

Mine has an OS, and can run games like overwatch, csgo, and pubg. These are selling points for non techies.

Your 6950 can run PUBG? I mean, I struggled to get my 7970 at 1150MHz to run PUBG but aight, I’ll take your word for it.

You’re also banking non-techies will buy. Dunno where you live but if it’s not a Dell Optiplex, it doesn’t usually sell to non-techies in my area. It sounds like you want to push the envelope of what you can get which is nice, but you’d be way better suited parting the system out, then.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Ive never tried it, but pubg wants a 2gb cpu to tun min specs (which is usually 40+ fps) and it loves cores. People in my area all want to get into PC gaming, and have money to throw out the window for pc's

Ah, so you’re running off the spec sheet.

Well, PUBG ate 2.5GB of VRAM on very-low/low settings and ran at about 45-90FPS depending on the area and how many players surrounded. I would recommend testing that 6950 before guaranteeing anything to people.

And PUBG is fine on the 8320E, it’s entirely GPU power it wants, it just wants a LOT of it.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
