Does anyone know what LED's Cherry MX RGB Switches use?

Hey guys i was just wondering how i would replace the small led that shines light through a clear cherry mx rgb switch? I am pretty sure they're mounted under the switch at the top of the switch . Any ideas? Thanks. Picture is for reference.

Looks like you'll want an SMD LED but you'll likely have to desolder the switch and LED, so you'll have to have the equipment to do so. For specifics, I imagine the geekhack forum would be a better place to go.

Desoldering and resoldering surface mount LEDs is significantly more challenging than through hole components like switches.
