RAM Advice

I've been popping up around here lately, asking for advice on how to upgrade my computer, and now after choosing what I will be getting, which is:

PCPartPicker part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/H2Pzqk
Price breakdown by merchant: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/H2Pzqk/by_merchant/

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor  (£249.59 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£108.05 @ BT Shop)
Video Card: MSI - Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case  (£99.93 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £457.57
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Now, I'm looking for some RAM to go with it, I was originally going to get Team - Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory. I've been hesitant to buy it though, and came here seeking some guidance. My price range is £650-700 total for the build. So, any suggestions? Max price is around £170.

Also, I am thinking of upgrading my GPU to something like a 1060, or 1080 when I can afford it, if that makes a change to any suggestions.

I am not going to be OverClocking.

Thanks in advance.

P.S - Can anyone tell me if https://www.amazon.co.uk/ROG-STRIX-B350-F-Socket-Motherboard/dp/B072C6VPZJ is the same as the one in my partpicker? I am wanting to buy everything through Amazon, so just want to check.

Same motherboard on the parts list as the Amazon one.

I would go for any reputable brand of RAM like G.Skill and Corsair and get a 2x8GB kit of 2800MHz RAM or faster like 3000MHz or 3200MHz.

Ryzen benefits a good amount from fast RAM, although if you are going to overclock your CPU you probably won't be able to set your RAM to it's max rated speed.

Here is one of the cheapest 16GB kits of RAM in the UK between 2800-3200MHz and it's a nice RGB kit too:

Thanks for clarifying it was the same, shall buy that later.

I won't be overclocking my CPU, so no problem with the max rated speed.

I see, then out of the one you suggested, and this https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/MYH48d/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3000c15 what would you pick? As I'm willing to spend a little more, if it will increase my performance, and be future proof.

This kit is going to be the same, its 16GB at 3000MHz but costs way more. Unless you want just black RAM get he G.Skill RGB kit I attached, it's cheaper and will look better.

Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard

People who've done much more with ryzen than me have informed me, repeatedly, that b350 is inadequate for r7 chips if you intend to do any overclocking, even though the strix is the best b350, probably a good idea to look at x370 boards

E: Just read back and you mentioned you don't intend on overclocking... that board should be fine then...

Pretty sure I can disable MSE in the BIOS? First time with an ASUS mobo, but pretty sure I can disable it either way. Shall see if it does anyway.
