Its bad but not that bad, its that where i want the wifi to reach, there's thick walls that its really hard to reach .

I'm using a verizon fios router that sucks , apparently their best router. outside my room door where the verizon router is located i've a old linksy E4200 router as repeater with twrp & then i've the Tp link extender  trying to pick up the linksys signal but its too weak . it picks the signal but with only 1-2 bars .

Thats horrifying. Like I said no guarantees with WiFi. No one will be able to tell you the range. You just have to buy it and test it your self.

Hi , So i've a tp_link n300 ,that works ok, But i need something that has a bit more range/power.

I'm in NYC & theirs wifi everywhere , so the wifi channel are packed. I've a Verizon fios router that sucks.

Just need a extender that will give me a 10-20 more ft then the Tp link n300.

@manikyath it can't be a powerline has to be a extender ,

anyone ?

would a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 range extender

work ?

really need something with good range, up budget to 100 USD.

The issue is you identified that 2.4 Ghz is clogged. Interference is the number 1 killer in speed and range. Also, there are no guarantees with WiFi. Just because some one got an extra 10-20 feet out of it, doesn't mean you will. As it depends on the environment its used in, mainly how packed the airwaves are.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Buy 3 extenders? it's still in range with your budget.

Beat it with quantity

as for interference's, it doesn't matter I meant, it's already packed with wifi signal I believe. switching to 5Ghz only delaying the problem.

Using powerline is the most reasonable suggestion, there's powerline with wifi

Ok going to try it out if it doesn't work sucks :). Thnx.

@Blebekblebek i just don't think powerline is going to work  where i want to connect it at, its not on the same power grid . Idk much about powerline adapter but it has to be on the same electric path i think.

Power line works best when they both are on the same circuit. You get slightly worse results if both breakers are on the same leg in the power panel, but you have to cross breakers. If your outlets are one two separate legs (Keep in mind in the US we have 2 110v lines coming in, each leg gets a 110v line. If you gotta cross a leg you get even worse results to not working.
