It uses HDMI which can support it so yes, but it would run at a laughable to FPS...

It will run 720/900p regardless of what you hook it up to.

probably not.. And can you imagine 720p unscaled to 2560x1080?

As if it wasn't already bad enough

It will not run at 2560x1080 and never will. You may be able to run it scaled on your screen but it will look hideous.

Itll probably just run at 1920x1080 on that monitor. I kinda doubt that the X1 can do 21:9

I have a PC, but I'm just sick and tired of spending 200-300$ on hardware every time a new game comes out!

umm you dont have to do that a 8800 GT still does decent with a good portion of games so what ever you have is probably fine, you just have to realize you dont need to max everything.

No need to do that. I just picked up a like new 7850 for $100. These were going for $120 with MIR on NCIX.

its allways disgusting to see all the pc master race fanboys that makes everyone else look bad , why not just answer the OP's question instead of lulz pc is the bestest.

OP - the xbox one can upscale up to 4K , so in theory it might work but i'm unsure.

He asked a fairly silly (and also vague) question, so he got silly responses.

Current Xbone games are standard HDTV widescreen 16:9 and not even 1080p resolution, so why question if the system will support an unconventional resolution?
