Sourcing a replacement IO Shield?

Go to solution Solved by emosun,

this one is close enough , just cut a little extra spot for where the monitor outputs are with a regular pair of scissors

Hello, so I recently put together a budget build for a friend using parts we found on eBay/Craigslist. It actually turned out pretty well, total cost 200 USD for an i5-2500k and gtx 960 with 8gb ram. Anyway, the issue we encountered is that the motherboard we got didn't come with an IO shield. It is a BioStar H61MLB. Anyone know where I can find a replacement IO shield? I've tried searching eBay and the web but can't seem to find anything. Thanks!

Meh some build specs...

Meh some inspirational quote meh...

contact biostar and see if you get lucky.  its an older motherboard, so you're probably out of luck. unless you buy a blank

That price is atrocious.

I/O shields are worth no more than $5 imo. For $20, I'd go without it.

Just did this, lots of replacements for popular boards but nothing for mine specifically. Also nothing universal.

You would cut your own I/O shield. That or just gluing some paper clips or metal strips, to the block and case, to ground the individual I/O blocks.
