I am about to build a gaming pc and my specs are as follows

CPU= i5 6500 (used $95 aud) 

GPU= GTX 1050 (new $159 aud)

Motherboard=ASUS H110M-K (new $79 aud)

RAM- 8GB DDR4 (dont know what model yet)

Power supply= Cooler Master MWE 450w (new $65 aud)

HDD just some old 320gb hard drive i had lying around

I was wondering if this is any good

its not the worst thing in the world, the hard drive is pretty cringe though

That will be good enough. Try and get a cheap SSD just for the boot drive. And see if you can get a better used GPU for the same money you are spending on that new one.

It should be alright for a low end build. Id definately advise getting a larger harddrive if you can because that will can up pretty quick if your an avid gamer and play multiple games + other files. The gtx 1050 will do decent for gaming at 1080P, but not super great for Triple A titles at high settings necesarilly. 

 

Do you have a budget for this build? and are you open to other ideas to fit that budget?
