EVGA Classified 980TI Watercooled

A friend upgraded from a 980TI EVGA Classified watercooled, I’m pretty sure he put the block and stuff on, to a 1070, and is offering to sell me the 980ti for $300, is it worth it? Can my system even handle it? I’m running a MATX board with an AMD A6 5400k, with a brand new, newly upgraded EVGA 500watt psu, and am coming from aN EVGA GT 730. Full ATX case tho.

It isn't worth it because your CPU is so bad that it even gets destroyed by today's cheapest offering at the brand new market the Pentium G4560.

 

The bottleneck will be so insane it is likely your GTX 980 Ti Classified will shoot itself in the face out of frustration due to how slow the CPU is.

 

Then again 300 dollars is not a bad asking price at all for this hardware.

I don’t even have the $300, he is letting me make payments, after this I plan to upgrade the cpu and board to Ryse 5

My main worry is, is it compatible with the mobo, and is the psu large enough?

If you don't have $300 at all, it's not a good idea to buy something worth $300.

 

You're basically putting yourself in debt to buy a GPU.
