Overkill Remote Desktop Machine

I'm going to start this off simply with a few pictures, and a brief description...

This was built a few years ago at the request of the accountant of the company I work for, he provided all of the specs needed. I didn't ask many questions, and ordered the parts that met the criteria and assembled. After installing it and the 4 monitors I find out that it is being used for web browsing and remoting into a server for about 6 hours once a week, and that is literally it.

I thought this would be asking for a Remote Desktop machine.

I would have said just an i3 is overkill.

Well,at least it is using a low end cooler and power supply,so yeah...

This was actually my first complete computer build, and there were a few mistakes (AMD 980, and OCZ SSD). I kind of understand it being a low end CPU cooler, but what is the issue with the PSU?

The silent pro in the build is for budget machines, even though it have a higher wattage.

Oh, I had no idea. When I think budget I think of Corsair RM and CX series, to me anything over $100 is high end lol.

Is that 2 gpu I see in there?

Yeah, two 6950's non-crossfired.

Kind of.Also budget is bad,for example the RM,TX and CX series and most Be Quiet PSUs uses bad caps in it.They are bound to die, most probably shortly after warranty.

Damn I could have gotten a Seasonic platinum series for a bit more $$$...but I went with the RM due to recommendations.Seriously regret that purchase. Also it gets fricken hot without the fan,to the extent I need to get another fan to blow at it since it is not spinning. They expected you to have tons of case fans on the case, and thus the no spinning thing is just a marketing term, especially because the crap CapXons and Teapos is very sensitive to heat and just like die when they get hot or is used for long times.

From now on,I blacklisted ChannelWell,Chicony and FSP.They are bad OEMs period. The only OEM I dare to trust will be Seasonic (but still, only high end ones).

I learnt my lesson the hard way.Corsair abused their good reputation, they lost all respect from me (and many others) and I will never buy another Corsair product. It does not matter if the Warranty is 5 years,if the quality is not up to standards. Not to say the RM650 look like some plasticky crap at the middle of the fan, where they slapped a ugly shiny sticker in the middle of the fan. Before i even knew the bad caps thing,I already suspected that the RM is not going to be something good.
