I got a razer deathadder elite 8-10 months ago, now it is having issues, for starters the right click will go in and out in games, normally right clicking will work, but if I hold it down it won't respond properly, like if I'm aiming down sights on a game it goes in and out after 10-20 seconds it either gives up or finally holds it down. secondly, i think I reset the mouse (has nothing to do with right click issue) lights won't respond either will DPI, I've tried random combinations it won't undo this, I've uninstalled all my drivers for my mouse reinstalled them, unplugged the mouse, tried different USB, even wait 5 mins in case it was overheating somehow, none of this works, I've looked at the tight right click space, there's nothing under it and clicks feel normal.

my razer mice have lived well past 5 years. most of the issues with them come from synapse. it's so trash it only ever works 30min past when you put the settings in. until reboot maybe if you're lucky. then it just breaks the tracking to the point it's impossible to even play with the mouse or the mouse stops working altogether unless re-plugged in.

Where you buy it from, should still fall under warranty so I'd get get a replacement like that. Best thing is get Video of it not working will just make the process go faster if they struggle to replicate it in the workshop.

I had the same issue with my Deathadder 3.5G way back when, but I kept'd throwing that one around whenever I got rekted in CS:GO, fun times.

i bought a Razer Deathadder Chroma 2014 edition, brand new on 24 November 2015 and at the beginning of this year the end of the usb plays up now. if it moves even slightly it drops all input, but doesn't lose power cos the LED's are still on. and it has to either be wiggled back in place or unplugged and re plugged i 50 times for it to recognize.

so it's potentially a dead mouse? any good replacements? I have fairly big hands, maybe slightly bigger than the deathadder would be nice, also I don't need more than 6000-8000dpi

6000-8000? That seems abnormally high, do you mean 600-800? For mouse recommendations, I have an EC2A and it works amazing, for bigger hands get an EC2B, it's a bigger and newer version of the EC2A with a 3360 sensor.
