Recording Setup

That's a sensible set of selections. The PSA1 has a 3/8'' thread and the shock mount has a 5/8'' thread, so if there's not one included with the shock mount or PSA1 then get one which looks like this, not like this.

I am looking to buy an XLR mic for my gaming/productivity setup. I am looking at getting an Audio Technica AT2020 http://a.co/eVj2NMi, Focusrite Scarlett Solo http://a.co/38bMMD8, Rode PSA1 http://a.co/d08ZvK4, a shock mount with a pop filter http://a.co/5Dcd6rA, and a 20ft XLR cable http://a.co/jksdZ0b. This is my first time buying a mic and I was wondering if these parts are compatible mainly the shock mount and the PSA1 and I could get anything better than what I have. These parts I have right now would cost around 320$.

Ok. My friend has the PSA1 with the radius shock mount and I didn't know if the sizes were compatible.
