As title says,

Is it normal to use a qdc as a drain valve? Or just get a regular drain valve like this? I know it has to be connected for fluid to run (which is how I want it). I wanted to drain the loop as fast as possible without unscrewing a fitting, etc. Does it lessen water flow more than a normal drain valve? I hope my drawing makes a better understanding of my question.

BTW I'm copyrighting my art if anyone dares to use it xD xD xDxD

thats a good idea. I just broke up the IN tube with a QDC and disconnect it when draining.

Yes it can be done as long as you have an extra quick disconnect to hookup to drain the fluid.

well i just remove my ball valve when i want to drain, the flow throught it is so poor that it just takes too long xD this seems to me like a good idea tho

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

do you think using qdc will make the loop drain slower or nah?

not in any amount that matters.
