Wait till next year then. Coffee Lake's supply should rise next year so prices will come down. Also might as well wait for 1070Ti and see what's what.

Well, I wasn't gonna have enough money to buy the PC until early next year, but I might go with the 2070, or 2060

Not much point in planning now then

but you're likely better off with Vega should have AIB cards by then, or be closer to $399 as well.

an R5 1600 is going to be far better for the money compared to that i3. especially since you're only gaming at 60hz.

24" is way too small, even 27" isn't much better, but I wouldn't buy a 24" 4k display at all, also I think that monitor you picked is fairly dim like it's 27" counter part. Wouldn't cheap out on your 4k display is basically what I'm saying.

Monitor: LG - 27UD68-W 27.0" 3840x2160 60Hz Monitor  ($499.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $969.98

Also the rest of it needs a lot of work, should come back next year when you have the money for it. Everything is going to change anyways.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I don't want to use Vega, Nivdia is arguably better and Vega 56 costs more than a 1070 even though it has slightly less to equivalent performance

You gotta take a few minutes to Flash Vega 56 to 64, then probably drop the voltage to 1100 so it runs faster even at stock settings, and then raise the memory to about 1000mhz in Wattman, it moves it closer to a 1080 at that point. It's super simple to flash Vega 56.

Also the displays you're looking at have free-sync, which means Vega is likely going to give you a better experience in the end with no screen tearing. That's the main reason to go with Vega over a 1070, especially with that kind of display.

Also the AIB cards should be pretty solid with the better cooling, and the Drivers will be more finalized by then, AMD is still missing some optimization features like primitive discard.
