I am looking for a higher OC, I am probably also going to delid.

The only heatsink upgrade I'm seeing that would fit and is reasonably priced is the NH-U12S. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/wjmLrH/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu12s

It's not a big upgrade though.

Scythe's Fuma and Mugen 5 are good alternatives if you can find them on sale.

A MasterLiquid Pro would be a bigger upgrade but might not fit depending on your motherboard: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/z9Z2FT/cooler-master-masterliquid-240-667-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-mlx-d24m-a20pw-r1

Unless you absolutely need the upgrade, I'd recommend just sticking with the H7. You should already squeeze most of the chips performance with delidding.

Hi,

I am currently running an i7-7700k overclocked to 4.8GHz with a cryorig H7.

I want to improve temps though, whats the best air cooler I can get?

I'm looking for something around 100$CAD. Not one of noctuas crappy looking

brown CPU coolers though. Any suggestions? Also, how much of a temp improvement

do you think ill get?

Thanks guys :)

Noctua has introduced some alternate colors in their fan lines, though it would mean buying another fan... Noctua is the leader in air cooling.

I have a cue light I can use to show you when I’m joking, if you like.

What case and ram do you have?

What are your temps?

I7-7700k Overclocked to 4.8GHz max load temp is 75C

75c is perfectly fine. Are you looking to push for a higher oc? Is your current cooler too noisy?

Okay thanks man, I'm going to stick with the h7 and just delid then! That was a lot of helpful information! :D

Have a good day :)

It's too tall for the case.
