Time to upgrade or nah?

Would you guys/girls say it’s worth upgrading to an i5 8400 or i5 8600k ?

my current specs are: i5 4570, gtx 1070, 8gb ddr3 :)

If it does what you need it to without any problems, there's really no need to spend that kind of money unless you just want the process to be faster.

But yeah, if you want to upgrade, like jeff.proto said wait for Coffeelake.

Yeah I have been looking at some used 4790/4790k but they’re too expensive :/

The 8600k would be your best option then. Just wait until the price of coffee lake motherboards drops down next year

Is your current CPU enough? If it is then wait for something on 10nm in 2018/2019, although that CPU should be more than enough at least for a year or two after new consoles come out (2021/2022).
