Card runs hotter even though nothing changed?

Cyberspirit

Hey so i just noticed that my 1070 that usually runs at 66 max now goes up to 72-73C even though nothing has been changed.

I highly doubt that the Windows Fall update did it but i guess it is a possibility.

Here are some screenshots of Msi Afterburner and GPU-Z if needed:

Spoiler

I also doubt that it's my room's temperature because it's just as cold as it usually is.

Any ideas why is this happening?

Ps.: The card is an MSI 1070 Quicksilver OC.

70 ish degrees?

I really wouldn't worry, I can see that the core clocks are higher than the standard for that card telling me that GPU boost 2.0 is probably involved.

That's a safe temperature for that card so no need to worry about anything, chances are you're getting more performance out of it than you were before.

I did Overclock it but before it only went above 70 when it was summer and it was like 30C or more in my room. Right now its around 19-22 in here.

Also the core clock ran at 2088 before as well. Except it ran cooler.
