So, I have this Dell Precision T3500 and I want to upgrade it, The thing that got my attention was this thing Called a "Riser Board", I understood that it allows you to put a 2nd CPU And More RAM, but I could not found any type of confirmation if This "Riser Board" works with This Dell Precision T3500.

Here are the specs It has Right now:

Xeon W3550 QC With HyperThreading

4GB DDR3

NVIDIA QUADRO FX 580

X2 500GB HDDS

525W DELL SILVER PSU

if somebody could tell me if this "Riser Board" is compatible with it, I could really appreciate it, and also if somebody could suggest me some other upgrades to it for Gaming.

THANK YOU!!!

I don't see anything linked so not sure if I'm missing something but the only model I could find with a riser board is the T5500 which is different from the T3500.

And the Bigger brother, The T7500 Can have a riser board too, so... I honestly would like to know if it is possible, Maybe I would need to upgrade the PSU For that....

Well considering a google search turns up 0 results for a riser board for the T3500, I'm going to say one doesn't exist.

Ok, But what about Upgrades?, there has to be something I could do to take this PC To its Limits, I would like to Upgrade to 12 GB Of RAM And a GTX 1060 Or 1050 Ti.

Get one of these processors:

Intel Xeon 6-Core (X5670, X5650),

Intel Xeon Quad Core (W3550, W3565, W3530, E5640, E5630, E5507)

You'll need a new PSU for any GPU like a 1060 or even some of the 1050Ti cards with the 6-pin or 8-pin power pins.

Ah, well then you might be alright.

The pictures of the PSU I found didn't look like they had one on them.

Well It does actually have one, also what graphics card do you think might be good for this Computer?, do you think the CPU Will be bottle necked? I was thinking about an MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GB or a GTX 1060 3GB, I also have a budget of 100$-250$ so do you think that upgrading this PC is worth it? Thank You!!!
