Screen protector for Edge phone

Hey, so, I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and since I have been very careful with it, I have already bought like 3 tempered glasses for my smartphone, but everyone of them seem to have a problem. Usually, if I have a case, case like to push my tempered glass away from screen or touchscreen near edges will likely to get unresponsive. Is it problem with screen protector or its a thing with Edge phones? Should I just forget about screen protectors and deal with it that I have a curved phone, or is it me that doing something wrong?

I used otter box protectors. They had a pack with one for both front and back. Mind you, I had to hold down the front with plenty of rubber bands to have it stay to the curves

It's hard to get a perfect fit with a edge phone so it's better to use a screen protector than a tempered glass
