Is there a mandatory subscription time for floatplane?

If i subscribe per month for floatplane, could i then unsubscribe for the service the next month?

Yes.

 

You receive a monthly notification before you are charged the next month as a reminder as well.

Someone really wants to see SYWs early

I don't think there's any plans set in stone to move exclusively to floatplane. It's only when/if youtube becomes unprofitable.

Thata not what I mean. I want to join floatplane before it becomes a separete website.

I'd recommend buying it for year now when its only $30. Buying it monthly is more expensive with $3*12=$36.

I do know that but its only a 6 bux difference and i want to have the freedom of unsubscribing, atleast for now.

You have always freedom. You can unsubscribe immediately after payment has been received. The question is more if you want to pay full years worth or just part of it.

What i mean is, if i pay for a year but then stop liking it after a month, then i have wasted a pile of cash buying a whole year. I dont think il regret it, but you never know.
