need help setting up claymore on linux

Hi, I'm new  to linux environment and am using the current Ubuntu 16.04. I am trying to setup claymore's miner on here, but being a linux noob I have no idea how to do that. Would anyone be willing to help guide me with a step by step? I tried doing it myself using online resource, but I haven't been able to get it working.
