Some video suggestions.

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, so if not, please move it mods.

So earlier today i came up with a few ideas for possible videos, not sure if anyone at LMG will pay attention, but hey, you never know.

1. Earlier I found myself thinking about this video, weirdly enough probably one of my all time favorites from CSS. Since Winter is coming I think it would be the perfect opportunity to create some more like these. Its not exactly the kind of thing that costs much to do either.

2. Maybe a revisited AMD-themed 8 gamers 1 CPU with threadripper and Vega? Not so sure about this one.

3. Something where once a month, or maybe bi-monthly, there's what I would call a "community showdown". A competition where anyone on the forum can submit (To a forum post) a pcpartpicker list within certain perimeters, like under 500$, best server machine, ect. Submissions will be (maybe) maxed to one per person, and the submissions will be narrowed down by the LMG staff to the top 50, or 30 or something(Not really sure how, maybe each staff members chooses their favorite 1, or 2. Provided it isnt already picked). The top will then be voted on by the community, with a straw pole maybe. The winning build would then be built and featured in a video, with the next few places being shown on screen, and briefly talked about as honorable mentions.

Not really sure about any of these, just had some ideas. Would like to hear what people think about them, especially number 3. I think it would be a nice way to tie in the videos to the community with some friendly competition.

There are plans for a new X gamers 1 cpu! No idea when linus talked about it but he did mention it probably during a WAN show.

I assume he's going with an EPYC 32C cpu and whack a bunch of gpu's in it.

Epyc motherboards with 1 cpu basically don't exist right now so i think it will take a while before we'll see it.

The reason he wants to do it again is because last time he used 2 cpu's, this time he would really use 1 cpu like it should be :D

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

With number 2, I'd like to see a showdown between the i9 7980XE and the Threadripper 1950x with those being kept in mind. It would be interesting to see, but we have to remember that even if it is possible, they'd probably have to use 2 1600w power supplies just to achieve it.

Huh, didnt know there were already plans. Now that i think of it, i wonder if theres any plans to make an actual server with epyc cpus inside.

Yeah, It might be possible to make some sort of bot to sort through submissions and delete copys. Probably just getting my hopes up though. They could also use a whole other website for posts, so that you can sort though more per page.
